HOW IT ALL STARTED
Dorset born and bred, Jay has a lifelong fascination with flowers which began in his childhood. His passion was inherited from his late grandad when as a child, the two would spend hours planting and growing flowers.
Seeing how each bloom can affect emotions and moods piqued Jay’s interest in floristry. Known for his charm, warmth and enthusiasm, Jay combines his instinctive knowledge with natural-born creativity to produce breath-taking arrangements.
PHILOSOPHY
Alongside his innate ability, Jay has also studied the art of floristry and has a wealth of experience and qualifications. Not content with resting on his laurels (pun intended!), he is always seeking ways to progress and develop his talent.

& Delivery Driver
Nick has wholeheartedly embraced the florist industry, and has brought his wealth of owning his own very successful businesses to Floral Couture by Jay. His role is to ensure that everything runs smoothly: from dealing with suppliers to promotional activities. You may also spot him delivering our signature bouquets, and supporting the business wherever possible. Nick is such an invaluable member of the team and we are so thankful for all the passion and smiles he brings!
Jemma | Senior Florist
Jemma started working in a florist as a Saturday job many years ago when she was just 13 & found floristry was something she had a natural flair for.
Her first job was at the The Flower Centre in Birmingham, where she stayed for 13 years, working her way up and becoming the youngest senior florist, as well as achieving many accolades in the florist industry. Jemma joined the team a couple of years ago and is a joy to have. Her love for the industry is very apparent as well as her passion and creativity.
Anna-Marie | Delivery Driver
Anna-Marie joined the team as an additional delivery driver & helper in the shop, her back ground is in care work which is where her & Jay first met & became life long friends. She has a very creative streak, and is enjoying learning about the floristry industry. Her bright, bubbly personality is so infectious and we love having her as part of our team.
Pandora, Pearl & Parker | Florist Pugs
Pandora, Pearl & Parker are Jay’s four legged friends and you will often see them at the shop with him. They are extremely friendly and love meeting new people! The shop is dog friendly and the whole team will always happily greet new four-legged friends.
